Friday Nights is HOT at Moe's!

Whitney & Jeff are kicking' it at Moe's Crosstown Friday nights with the guys behind the bar! Brandon, Legos & Frank are slinging' drinks all night & the kitchen stays open late! Music starts around 10pm.

Back from the Road!

Time for an adventure! I jumped on a plane and flew to Reno. Stopped in Lake Tahoe, to see Florence and The Machine. I stood on the state line of California and Nevada, put my feet in Lake Tahoe. Caught a ride to Sacramento CA, then hopped on a train to San Fransisco and met a nice woman named Nicole. Walked the streets of San Fransisco, ate delicious Italian food, sang Jazz music with a stranger on the sidewalk in Union Square, had lunch with a sweet lady and her dog. I saw the Golden gate bridge, rented a car and took off. Drove down the Pacific Highway 1 through Monterey, Carmel and BIG SUR! Oh Big Sir...a dream come true! Danced in fields of giant wild flowers, made wishes over dramatic cliffs, bonded with the planet. My toes touched the sand of many beaches and my soul was refreshed. Negative energy just jumped out of me over the cliffs of Big Sure. Ventura Beach, with so many RV's! Pismo Beach with the beautiful breeze and quiet evenings, Santa Barbara with the tallest palm trees, roller-blades and ice cream cones on the Pier. Inglewood, California, yep...Inglewood, where I had my most interesting day at the dispensary. Disney Land with my Minnie Mouse ears and hotel that was upgraded to an apartment. The Brandi Carlile concert by the Bay and the Hard Rock hotel in Downtown San Diego, where the room comes with a fender guitar! What a trip. 4 weeks on the road alone and in love with life!

I love my planet. I love my freedom. I love the inspiration and companionship of music.

Women & The Beatles, Charleston Music Hall

The series is the brainchild of local musicians Lindsay Holler and Hazel Ketchum who thought it would be interesting to have women interpret the songs of Tom Waits back in 2015. It was a magical evening indeed. So magical, that we decided to keep the series rolling through 2016 and 2017 with Women & Young, Women & Bowie, Women & Dylan, Women & Radiohead, Women & The Rolling Stones, Women & Leonard Cohen, Women & Gram Parsons, Women & Cooke, and Dudes & Dolly. We have gathered an amazing and diverse line up of singers ranging from age 18 – 63! Each evening will consist of two different bands backing these women with two sets. The Music Hall’s most successful local concert series to date, the “Women & Series” is a fun way to celebrate some of the artists we all love while also celebrating and encouraging our local musicians. The line up of musicians for the shows will be announced in the coming months. Through January 11th, you can buy the Women & 2018 Season ticket for only $50. 4 shows for $50, what a deal!

It was a packed house, a wonderful show &  honor to play The Beatles music at the Charleston Music Hall. Thank you to all of our amazing friends and family who came out to support these strong, beautiful and talented local women! There is so much love to be shared in this world! "All you need is love."
